Description The Midrash Rabbah on the Torah and the Five Scrolls. Printed by Ortsel in Israel, in 1961, from the original Vilnius edition. These large folio volumes measure 16 x 10.5 inches.


This set includes many original and classic commentaries on excellent cream paper stock in the form of a very large and impressive set. It includes Rashi, Matnot Kehunah, Yefeh Toar, Yefeh Anaf, Yidei Moshe, Mishnat DeReb Eliezer, Nezer Hakodesh, Toldot Noah, Nechmad LaMareh, Hiddushei HaRadal, Hiddushei Harashash, Biur Maharip, Massoret Hamidrash. and many others. Volume one has the following pagination 414, 164, 22. Volume two has the following pagination: 118, 190, 240, Then starts the Midrash on the 5 Megilloth which first has its own title page saying 'Volume 3' and the pagination is, 30 (Esther), 86 (Shir Hashirim), 26, 62, 62.

Condition Excellent condition, no writing in the interior except for a very neat inscription on volume one's blank page. Pages are crisp and white, binding is excellent. Just one minor item to note is that the scrape to the volumes's cover shown in the picture is not as obvious as it appears in the pictures, it is a really nice set.
